Hi there,

My name is Susan and I am the owner of the Swamp Ceramic Arts School and Studio.

My cozy studio is located in the inner city suburb of Invermay; a stone throw from the University of Tasmania and a short walk to the Launceston CBD.

I first discovered the wonderful world of ceramics whilst living in NZ in 1996 when I participated in a Raku workshop and was hooked for life. Over the years I have attended classes at various TAFE colleges for both ceramics and jewellery but I am predominantly self taught.

Although clay has been my primary passion for over 25 years, I also love to paint in watercolour.

Making art can be a great way to relax and unwind and it may even make you happy, so why not come along and give it a go.
