The Pottery Academy is a series of 6 weekly workshops that delve more formally into the science and physics that underpin the alluring art and craft of ceramics.

Students are shown the correct methods for hand forming decorative and domestic functional pieces. The classes include topics pertaining to glaze chemistry, firing schedules and market readiness.

(This course is suitable for grade 8+ home schooled students wanting to incorporate an Arts & Craft unit to their curriculum).

Places are limited to 10 students per session.

  • Beginner to Intermediate - some experience working with clay is useful but not necessary. You will be guided by your tutor.
